BitKeep Gains Access to Whitelist Claim of Web3.0 Social Giant Lens Protocol — A Neat Tutorial

As Web3.0 social giant Lens Protocol is gaining unprecedented attention, many new users can’t wait to be part of the Lens ecosystem. However, you will need a Lens Protocol Profile to access Lens ecosystem and many users end up buying profiles via Opensea at a floor price of 0.02 ETH. BitKeep has released the Lens whitelist spots and you can simply claim one via Phaver, a Lens ecosystem project. You can claim a Lens profile with a role of Phaver Frens.

How to claim after gaining access to the whitelist

Download the least version of BitKeep

1) Access BitKeep wallet and select DApp browser, search for [Lens] and select [Matic]-[Confirm];

Note: kindly follow the pop-up window and tap [Add], then enter your password to proceed if you haven’t added Polygon mainnet yet;

2) Enter the interface of Lens and select [Browser] and click [Connect];

3) Confirm the address, tap [Confirm], and enter your password. Make sure your wallet is connected;

4) Return to BitKeep DApp browser and search for [Phaver], select [Matic]-[Confirm];

Note: kindly follow the pop-up window and tap [add] and enter your password to proceed if you haven’t added Polygon mainnet;

5) Enter the interface of Phaver and log in to your account. Connect to [BitKeep wallet] and select [Continue]-[SETDISPATCHER];

6) Enter your password after confirmation. Then you can access Phaver App to view your profile;

What is Lens?

The Lens Protocol is a Web3 social graph on the Polygon Proof-of-Stake blockchain. Set the profile’s “follow module”:

This whitelisted logic contract determines the logic that must be executed when a wallet attempts to follow the given profile; for example, some followers may incur a fee to the profile owner via the fee follow module contract. Set the profile’s image URI

Set the profile’s “dispatcher”:

This is an address that can act on behalf of a profile’s owner; it can: Publish to the given profile. Set the given profile’s URI.

This executes the profile’s “follow module” logic, if any. This mints the following wallet a “follow NFT” unique to that profile and sequentially ID’d. Follow NFTs have a custom URI set by profile owners.

Collect publications:

This executes any logic in the publication’s “collect module.” If the publication is a mirror, this is executed on the originally mirrored publication with a referral. This mints the collecting wallet a “collect NFT” unique to that publication and sequentially ID’d. Collect NFT URIs point to the collected publication’s URI.
