What is Polygon?
Polygon, formerly known as Matic Network, plans to become the first Layer 2 solution aggregator on the Ethereum chain to build a modular, universal and flexible expansion framework for Ethereum. Polygon aims to empower all existing Ethereum expansion solutions, starting from the inside, and continuing to explore the expansion of Ethereum.
How to create wallet?
1.Open BitKeep, click create new wallet, choose main chain, click next, I understand, back your Mnemonic.
Do not leak your Mnemonic to anyone
Do not take screenshot or using internet transport
BitKeep will not save your Mnemonic, once lost, your assets can’t be recovered.
2.Click I already backed up, input Mnemonic and confirm and set your password, then you can use BitKeep.
You can import private key via: my wallet-choose wallet-import private key.
3.Old BitKeep users can choose import wallet or input Mnemonic
How to create Polygon wallet?
1. Open BitKeep, click add coins on top right corner
2. Click all chains, choose Polygon, click Matic
How to make cross-chain deposit/withdraw on Polygon(Matic)?
Deposit
- Click token details after adding, click deposit
- Transfer digital assets on ETH to Polygon(Take Matic cross-chain deposit to Polygon as example) Cross chain deposit usually takes 7–8 mins
- Click confirm to authorize after checking the transaction info
Withdraw
- Click token details after adding, click withdraw
- Transfer digital assets on Polygon to ETH (Take Matic cross-chain withdraw to Polygon as example)
- Click confirm to authorize after checking the transaction info
